Bugs and Blossom is a place where children and adults can learn and create with independence, trying out risks and challenges we are cosseted from in modern life.
A huge focus for Bugs and Blossom is the benefit of being outside and the effects it has on positive mental health. A chance to stop and find peace in a beautiful woodland setting.
Lucy wanted an identity for Bugs and Blossom that truly evoked the feeling of experiencing the outdoors from a child’s perspective.
The outcome was a fun and playful visual identity. The primary colour pallet reflects the colours of the outdoors, using muted tones to create a calm and relaxing environment.
Avenir is the primary font which is clear and easy to read for younger children. When used alongside the feature font, Shrikhand and colour pallet it comes together to complement all the aspects of Bugs and Blossom’s ethos.
